đŸ•šī¸ Gameplay Overview & Historical Retrospective

Slam Tilt was released in 1996 by 21st Century Entertainment and developed by Liquid Dezign for the Commodore Amiga. It stands as one of the defining titles in the machine's legendary 16-bit software library, and remains a favourite among retro computing enthusiasts, demosceners and digital preservationists.

A late-era Amiga pinball game featuring four detailed tables and impressive graphics and sound. It is considered one of the best pinball simulations on the platform.

On the Amiga, the game made full use of the machine's custom chipset — the Agnus blitter, Denise video processor and Paula 4-channel sound synthesizer — to deliver smooth, fast-scrolling 2D playfield graphics and rich sampled audio that set it apart from IBM PC DOS CGA/EGA systems and 8-bit home micros of its time. Its responsive joystick control scheme and polished presentation made it an essential experience for the platform.
